Answer not accepted
Updated Oct 18, 2026, 3:23 PM UTC (Oct 18, 11:23 PM GMT+8) · Based on the official Krillion FAQ (“why was my answer not listed?”).
Reasonable ≠ listed
Looking correct is not enough. The Daily Dive only scores answers that made that day’s curated set. If your spelling never entered the list — or entered under a different preferred name — the game will reject it even when a human would shrug and say “close enough.”
Why fair answers go missing
- Source gap. Official FAQ: sets come from aggregated datasets, then a merge/clean pass. Sometimes a source is simply missed.
- Alias mismatch. The same thing can have several names; only the aliases on the sheet count.
- Prompt constraints. A great answer for the topic can still fail a length, spelling, or exclusion rule.
- Autocorrect surprises. The FAQ notes generous alias matching can turn a near-miss into an unexpected accepted form — or leave your intended spelling unscored.
What to do next
- Re-read the prompt’s restrictions before retrying Unlimited / practice modes.
- After the dive, compare against today’s recorded sheet.
- If you are still mid-dive tomorrow, use progressive hints instead of guessing blindly.
- For scoring disputes, only the official game is authoritative.
