Krillion scoring & depth
Updated Oct 18, 2026, 3:23 PM UTC (Oct 18, 11:23 PM GMT+8) · Conversion and ceilings match the official client (MAX_DAY_SCORE = 700, “every point sinks you 10 metres”).
The conversion
Depth (metres) = score × 10. A 60-point Rare is 600 m; a 100-point gem is 1,000 m.
Seven rounds × 100-point gems = 700 points = 7,000 metres — the trench floor. A blank or rejected answer adds 0 points / 0 m for that round.
Points → metres by tier
| Tier | Points | Depth |
|---|---|---|
| One in a Krillion | 100 | 1,000 m |
| Deep Cut | 85 | 850 m |
| Rare | 60 | 600 m |
| Schooler | 30 | 300 m |
| Too Clever | 15 | 150 m |
| Plankton | 10 | 100 m |
| Miss / rejected | 0 | 0 m |
Where 700 comes from
Official constants: ROUNDS_PER_DAY = 7 and a gem worth 100 points. 7 × 100 = 700. That ceiling is theoretical for a given sheet — if a prompt has no 100-point gem published, that day’s recorded maximum sits lower even though the game’s scale still tops at 700.
Reading a full-dive total
Add the seven round scores. 420 points is 4,200 m; 85 + 60 + 30 across three rounds is already 1,750 m before the other four prompts. Use tier names when you compare days, not just the metre label.
